Write for us
We welcome clear, original pitches about home gardening that help readers make informed choices with the space and resources they have. Propose an angle, not a finished article.
What we are looking for
Pitch useful, evergreen ideas about garden planning, plants, soil, water, or seasonal care. Strong proposals have a distinct reader question, explain why the subject matters, and offer a sensible scope. We value resourceful thinking and advice that does not assume readers need to buy a particular product.
A good pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the central point, who would find it useful, and how you would handle important limits or variations. Explain any relevant experience accurately; do not claim tests, credentials, or access you do not have. We do not accept work that depends on unsupported claims or presents risky tasks as casual projects.
How to send a proposal
Send your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include your working title and a short outline. A proposal is not a commission, and we may edit accepted work for clarity, accuracy, and fit.
